Population ageing in a nutshell
The full version of this 4 page seminar handout has been published in 'People and Place' (2007) Vol 15 (2): 12-21. Note that the ABS population projections used in this paper (the 2005 revision) have been revised (the 2008 revision). The revsions do not alter the basic argument, but there will be some effect on specific percentages. The paper will be revised to accommodate these changes as soon as possible
